Reviews and Ratings <br />
Zensala Resort is a wonderful getaway along the Ping River with excellent amenities and friendly, attentive staff. The villas offer an intimate experience, especially with the outdoor bathrooms and plunge pools. However, while the breakfast options were decent, they didn't fully impress. The distance from the city center is a minor downside, but rides are affordable and easily available.
The hotel is a peaceful escape just outside Chiang Mai, with lovely views of the river and spacious rooms. The dining options are plentiful and enjoyable, though the ambiance can feel lacking at times due to low occupancy. The location might be a bit remote for some, and the road outside can get noisy during peak hours. Overall, it’s a comfortable stay with solid amenities and a great breakfast.
Our stay at this resort was absolutely wonderful! The lush surroundings and peaceful riverside setting made it feel like a serene escape from reality. The rooms were large and comfortable with amazing beds, though a tad pricey for food. The staff were incredibly attentive and took care of all our needs, ensuring a fantastic family experience! However, it is a bit of a journey to reach downtown Chiang Mai, taking around 20-30 minutes with a ride, but the tranquility was well worth it.
Zensala offers a picturesque riverside setting, perfect for families, with beautiful grounds for kids to play and a lovely pool. The rooms can feel a bit rundown, and the location, while peaceful, isn’t very close to attractions, making travel a bit inconvenient. The service was decent, but some improvements could be made, especially regarding communication and maintenance.
I had a lovely stay at this hotel, thanks to the clean and spacious accommodations. The staff were attentive and friendly, which really enhanced the experience. While the restaurant offered some decent options, I found the breakfast not very appealing. The location was peaceful along the river, but it was a bit of a trek to the city center, which was a minor downside. Overall, a great value for a few nights.
